Owl Class P.E. Days
Our P.E. Day in Owl Class is a FRIDAY. On P.E. Days, children need to come to School wearing their P.E. Kit.
Please ensure that any earrings are removed and long hair is tied back. Thank you!
Owl Class Library Day
Our Library Day in Owl Class is FRIDAY. Your child is able to choose a Library Book on a FRIDAY and keep for a week.
*Permission slips must be signed and returned before your child is able to take a book*
Owl Class Reading Books
Reading books in Owl Class will be changed on a MONDAY and FRIDAY if they have been read at home. Please indicate by signing your child's blue home-school reading record. Children who read at home are rewarded with team points and Golden Tickets. Children also have a 'Reading Log' at the front of their blue home-school reading record. Children are expected to read at home at least 5 times per week. Children achieving this expectation will receive a reading certificate at the end of the term and earn a treat! Please sign the grid to indicate the number of times per week your child is reading.
More information about reading can be found in our Curriculum >> Reading pages.
Owl Class Maths Homework
Maths Homework will be set each THURSDAY afternoon. Children completing all of the Term's activities will receive a certificate at the end of term. The homework sheet will be stuck into a book and will link with the learning from that week in Class.
Owl Class Family Challenges
Each child has their own Family Challenge Book. There is a list of ideas you can complete together at home to supplement the theme in Class. We would like each child to complete at least 1 challenge, but there is no limit! Each challenge completed and brought into School can earn 10 team points and an acknowledgement in our Celebration Assembly!
